What is API Deposu?
API Deposu is an independent, developer-focused resource that brings publicly available APIs into one catalog. Entries combine source ownership, documentation links, access conditions, and—where available—evidence from a working endpoint.
Why It Exists
Picking the right API often takes hours of scattered research. Existing lists are out of date and free-tier conditions are usually buried under marketing copy. API Deposu speeds up that decision by curating the catalog from verified sources, and lets you try APIs in the browser via Test Lab without writing a backend first.
Who Runs It
API Deposu is created and maintained by Mert Murat. It is an independent developer project guided by an open-data philosophy. Community contributions are welcome via the "Submit API" form.
Editorial Policy
Catalog entries and blog posts follow these rules: • Official status, documentation, pricing, and terms are checked against provider-owned sources; unofficial services are clearly labeled with a reason. • Critical facts such as price, rate limits, availability, and authentication are not guessed; unverified fields are marked “not specified.” • Where appropriate, a real endpoint test, example request, response, and test date are published; one test result is not a guarantee of uninterrupted service. • AI-assisted content is reviewed by a human editor for sourcing and consistency before publication. • Correction requests are accepted at iletisim@apideposu.com; material changes update the content and its last-checked date.
Advertising
API Deposu may show Google AdSense ads only on selected blog index and article pages to help cover infrastructure costs. Ads are separated from editorial content and do not determine catalog ranking, official-status reviews, or editorial conclusions. Optional advertising technologies load according to your cookie choice and applicable consent requirements. API Deposu may also use affiliate links in selected provider guides. These relationships do not increase the price paid by users, are disclosed on the page where they appear, and do not determine ranking. Provider claims are reviewed against official documentation before publication.
