At API Deposu, we value your privacy. This policy explains how your personal data is collected, used, and protected in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698).
1. Data Controller

2. Data Collected
Technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages visited, and time of use may be processed during a visit. Data may also be collected through these flows: • API submissions: API name, provider, URLs, and optional contact details • Feedback: optional email and message content • Portal, marketplace, and first-party API products: account identity, plan, subscription, API-key prefix, and usage metadata such as endpoint, method, status, HTTP code, and latency • Selected blog pages where advertising is allowed: Google may process online identifiers, ad interactions, and approximate device/browser information
3. Purposes of Data Processing
Data may be processed to operate and secure the site, improve performance and user experience, measure optional audience statistics, review submissions, operate subscriptions and quotas, and—when allowed—serve and measure ads on selected blog pages and prevent advertising abuse.
4. Legal Basis
Depending on the activity, processing may rely on performance of a contract, legal obligations, establishment or protection of a right, or legitimate interests that do not override your fundamental rights. Non-essential analytics and advertising technologies are enabled after your choice or consent where applicable law requires it.
5. Third-Party Services
The following third-party services may be used: • Vercel Analytics: Measures site usage only when allowed. • Google AdSense: On selected blog pages and only when advertising technologies are allowed, may process data to deliver and measure ads, protect the ad system, and prevent abuse. Third-party advertising vendors, including Google, may use cookies, IP addresses, web beacons, or similar identifiers to serve ads based on prior visits to this site or other sites on the Internet. • OpenAI API: Processes text sent through specific content and submission workflows for translation or text processing. • Cloudflare R2: Stores large collection files. We do not sell your personal data. Limited processing with Google for advertising is governed by your choices and Google's applicable privacy terms.
6. Transfers and Advertising Choices
Third-party providers may process data on systems located outside Türkiye. Any transfer is handled under applicable data-protection rules and the provider's contractual safeguards. Before ad serving is enabled, a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) integrated with the IAB TCF is configured for regions where Google requires one. Choices made there affect ad personalization and related data use.
7. Data Retention Period
Data is kept only for as long as needed for its purpose, security, and legal obligations. Your cookie choice stays in local storage until you change it or clear browser data. Third-party retention periods are governed by their policies. Request bodies for first-party APIs are not stored as usage events.
8. Your Rights (KVKK Article 11)
Under KVKK, you have the following rights: • Learn whether your personal data is being processed • Request information if it has been processed • Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used in accordance with its purpose • Know third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad • Request correction of incomplete or incorrect data • Request deletion or destruction of data • Request notification of correction/deletion to third parties • Object to outcomes arising from automated analysis • Claim compensation for damages due to unlawful processing
